The Shot! Roman Empire Legion Steel Tip Dart Set-90% Tungsten Barrels set is Shot’s tribute to the great minds that gave the ancient Romans decisive military victories. Those strategists developed new technologies and evolved tactical warfare. Who planned each battle with precision, and deployed the superior forces, equipment and backup to capture victory for the glory of Rome. All three Roman Empire barrels in the range feature the meticulous new signature Testudo grip, named for the ‘tortoise’ shield-wall formation, a defensive tactic used by legionaries to protect themselves against enemy archers.

This 90% tungsten dart barrel is clad in gold titanium -our nod to the Aquila – the eagle on the Legion’s standard. Under this ‘ride or die’ Aquila, each soldier would fight harder, with unwavering courage and unswerving purpose. Its front-weighted torpedo shape and Testudo, Colosseum and Hilt grip profiles give it clear direction and superior aim, no matter the battleground. So you can adapt, learn from adversity and come back stronger, game after game.
Barrel Design
Legion features two new distinct grip profiles which allow multi-level finger reference points along the dart. The barrel nose features the defensive Testudo grip, named for the ‘tortoise’ shield-wall formation used by legionaries to protect themselves against enemy archers. Followed by the Colosseum grip with deep axial cuts, this provides an excellent reference point for front throwers, with a superfine texture to relax your finger. For new players, those whose fingers wander or those who prefer to grip from the midsection, we have provided a significant multi-directional scallop that sits just behind the push point, for positive placement and control of the dart. A small band of Testudo grip breaks up the back of the dart. Finished in a rich gold Titanium coating for strength and beauty, 100% designed, manufactured and color plated at the factory in New Zealand.

Processing & Shipping Time
Small Parcel: Smaller items and accessories will be shipped within 1 business day via the most economical service from FedEx, UPS or USPS for FREE. Larger games and furniture may incur a shipping charge. Please call to request expedited shipping as additional charges may apply.
International Orders:
Please contact us for international rates. The customer is responsible for all taxes and duties associated with their purchase. Maine Home Recreation can help navigate the customs process or a customs broker when needed.
LTL Truck Freight: All in stock games ship within 48-72 hours. Once shipped, please allow 1-2 weeks for arrival. A MHR team member will reach out if your selected product has a longer lead time. You’ll be provided with your tracking number once we confirm pick-up by the freight carrier. Once the game has shipped and arrives at the delivery terminal, the Freight Carrier will contact you to set up a 3-4 hour delivery window.
LTL truck freight comes with curbside delivery. This means the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend that you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. All freight items are fully insured. White Glove Delivery and Installation: For items being delivered inside our Maine Home Recreation coverage area, rest assured that we will do everything we can to provide you with the best service in the business! Our installers are well trained and can deliver and professionally install every game we sell. We will treat you, your product, and your home/business with the utmost care. Our reputation means everything to us. Treating our customers the way we want to be treated by providing quality products and excellent service is where that all starts.
For items that include professional installation outside of our coverage area your product will ship directly to a certified billiard technician in your area. A Maine Home Recreation Team Member will still reach out directly to confirm order details, but the installation appointment will be coordinated directly with the local company.
Returns
If you have any issues with your item please reach out to us. We will work with you to make it right or accept a return. To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
For items ordered in error, customers are responsible for all return shipping fees.
For items that we shipped in error or that were damaged in transit by the carrier, we will provide a return shipping label.
Please call regarding all larger items that were shipped via LTL Truck Freight.
Service Work Warranty
Maine Home Recreation warranties the installation of any quality brand pool table we install for the lifetime of the table. This includes leveling. Slate seams and items that are detrimental to the pool table structure or cloth will be scheduled and done immediately. Minor leveling, adjustments, and other non-emergency issues will be scheduled for the next time we are in the area. Maine Home Recreation takes no liability for tables placed against recommendation or for tables set up by customer request against accepted industry best practices. If a table is moved from its original location, you will also void this warranty.
